I’ll never forget the day I was playing Uno with my daughter and she stopped mid-game to ask:

 “Mommy, why is your brow furrowed?”

I wasn’t mad. I wasn’t even particularly stressed. But even in that moment with her, my brain was at work—thinking about emails, deadlines, the next thing on my list.

It wasn’t just Uno. I’d be lying on the massage table for “self-care,” but running through my inbox in my head. I’d go on vacation, only to dread the workload waiting for me when I got back. Even when I hit a huge milestone in my career, the pride lasted a few moments before my brain leapt forward to the next goal.

I realized: I wasn’t just working hard.
I was working to work.


And the satisfaction I thought I’d feel at success? It was slippery—gone almost as soon as I touched it.

What I know now is that success without joy isn’t really success. It’s just another checkbox on a long list of to-dos completed by a very busy, overachieving woman.

And I don’t want to wake up one day at 80 and think: Wow, I really crossed a lot off my list.

My Story

It’s saying out loud what you really want (even if it feels scary or embarrassing), it’s in the courage to take bold action, to set firm boundaries, to say No when you’ve always said Yes, to be vulnerable with someone, and to sit with uncomfortable emotions—even boredom—without filling the space with more work or the next to-do.

The truth is, joy was there all along—in the quiet moments I used to label “boring” and immediately stuffed with more productivity (or mindless scrolling).

I realized that Joy doesn’t magically appear at the finish line of a goal without intentionally making space for it. We have to re-wire our nervous system to feel safety in bold actions, find gratitude in the process, but also to receive the success of our efforts.

You have to create space for it… and yes, even work for it to fuel the bigger, bolder life you’re meant for.

When does the program start? +

The Joyful Project is a group program with our upcoming cohort dates January 20th - June 20th. We have 90 minute live coaching (3) Tuesdays per month at 1pm EST, and you’ll have access to call replays inside a private portal.

What if I can’t make a live call? +

No problem. All calls are recorded and uploaded within 24 hours. You’ll also get access to our private Slack channel to share wins, ahas and insights.

How much time do I need each week? +

Plan for about 90 minutes a week: one hour for our live call and 30 minutes to practice the tools and reflections. The goal isn’t to add more to your plate—it’s to give you back time you’re currently losing to overthinking, overworking, or numbing out.

Is this about weight loss? +

No. This isn’t a weight loss program. While some tools overlap with The Unstoppable Group, my signature stress and weight loss program, The Joyful Project, is focused on joy, courage, boundaries, and connection. If your primary goal is to achieve a body goal and feel better doing it, The Unstoppable Group would be a better fit for you.
