Not my capabilities, not my willpower, not some secret flaw that made me different from everyone else.

That’s what podcasts gave me—the first opportunity to challenge my perspectives, bring new clarity, and– the possibility of real freedom. 

As I went on the journey myself and started to create my own unique processes and strategies that specifically addressed how the overachieving woman thinks, I decided to share my voice and created The Burn Stress, Lose Weight Podcast.

The problem was never me. 

THE TRUTH

I was an audiobook girl—or blasting 90’s tunes while driving from one thing to the next: 2am hospital deliveries, back-and-forth office runs to see my patients, mom-chauffeur duties, groceries, even dropping my nanny at the bus stop because she didn’t have a car.

I remember the exact day I discovered I had a podcast icon on my phone. I was running a few minutes late to the office when someone in a physician facebook group mentioned a podcast about mindset and weight loss (also yes, scrolling my phone in the morning was probably the reason I was running late)... I was intrigued enough to look the podcast up, hit play—and went down the rabbit hole in the best way possible.

For the first time in forever, I felt better just from listening because I finally saw a different perspective than the one I had been living with for the past many years.


Back in 2018, I didn’t even know what a podcast was.
