This tends to happen after a burst of motivation, like around the New Year. I call this burst of motivation activation energy. When you feel activation energy in your brain and body, you feel inspired. You’re ready to show up for your goals. You break out the spreadsheets and start planning, and for a few days, weeks, or months, you start to really see some changes. This works for a while, until you stop feeling motivated.
